Join SEAVa for an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the Gerdau Steel Mill! This unique opportunity will give attendees insight into the steel manufacturing process and the production of materials that play a critical role in the construction and structural engineering industry.
Participants will meet at Dunbar’s office, where transportation will be provided via charter bus to and from the steel mill. Lunch will not be provided. Please eat before meeting at Dunbar's office or bring your own lunch to eat on the bus ride.
The guided mill tour will last approximately two hours and will include an overview of operations, safety procedures, and the steel production process. A presentation and Q&A session will follow the plant tour. Wear long pants that you are okay with getting dirty and closed toe shoes for the plant tour.
Space is limited, and registration will be available on a first come, first served basis. Early registration is encouraged to secure your spot!
